Here are a few original pictures taken at the Mills Novelty Co. violano factory on 4100 Fullerton, Chicago, IL circa 1920. We have many of these photos and will from time to time publish other little known views of the plants during the 1900-1950 era.
Several thousand copies of "Building the Violano" commonly known as the 'Factory Tour' sales brochure were printed by Mills Novelty. These were free handouts during the violano production era.
The Building the Violano brochure was reproduced by Vestal Press about thirty years ago. It has been posted on another website as a great information scoop! You will find it on this site in its complete form listed under the MNC section as "Mills Factory Booklet", along with many other original items.
